Overall, there is just enough to capture the imagination of Marvel readers in this box.  Buying 2 boxes to complete the base set along with at least 4 or 5 boxes to have a chance to get all the basic inserts in this set seems a little bit too much.  Also, hopefully in Series 2 and 3, we have more Breakthrough Issues that veer away from Spider-Man, X-Men and Fantastic Four.  I hope that Marvel does remember that there were other groundbreaking comics out there that aren't in the major books.

As for the autos, it is good that they aren't in each and every box.  The base cards do give information on the 1st appearance of the character, although I would have liked having their powers instead of a brief synopsis of what the characters went through.  The art on the cards is good and aside from a bent corner here and there, the cards are good.
